Aaron graduated from West Virginia University in 2003 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and has worked at PRO Physical Therapy in Front Royal and Winchester, Virginia since. Soon after graduation, he attended and completed a year-long orthopedic manual therapy course through the University of Virginia.

He later completed a manual therapy Mentorship and Fellowship program through Kaiser Permanente in California. Upon completion, he received Fellowship status through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) and became board certified as an Orthopedic Specialist by the APTA in 2010.

Since returning from California, Aaron has been continually involved with the educational process. He helped form a continuing education group, the Virginia Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Institute (VOMPTI) and is a primary faculty member for UVA-HealthSouth’s Orthopedic Residency. Aaron provides one-on-one mentoring for therapists completing this year-long orthopedic residency.

After several years of adjunct faculty work at Shenandoah University, Aaron became a full-time faculty member in the fall of 2014 and is currently an Assistant Professor at SU teaching their orthopedic and therapeutic exercise curriculum.
