Hey guys,
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Tyler and I was in the most recent cohort of VOMPTI residents at UVA. Chad Cook published an editorial in the most recent JOSPT discussing how easy it is to be published in predatory journals, underscoring the importance of paying attention to the source of research we use in our practice. For the editorial, a team of researchers wrote a fake research paper and submitted it to a journal. It was published within a week! I have attached that article below for your entertainment.

Great post. Chad was the keynote at the AAOMPT conference this year and he spoke a lot about this issue and his publication.
I think this just goes to show how we need to use our clinical reasoning and critical thinking in all aspects of our profession.
