Our Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

During this novel time of global pandemic, we realize that everyone is facing new changes and challenges every day; both clinically, and individually.

VOMPTI has made some difficult decisions in planning for the near future of our Residency Program, and other educational products that we offer, including the yearly Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Course Series.

VOMPTI has decided to not accept any new residents for the Class of 2020 -21 that typically commences September 2020 – August 2021.   During this time our faculty will be working with our current residents due to the disruptions to their residency year, updating our current continuing education offerings and planning for the future of VOMPTI.

We will also be pushing back the start date for the 2021 OMPTS to January 1, 2021.  Additional decisions about hosting that course series will be made as we move closer towards 2021.  These decisions will be based partially on the recommendations of the governor and whether the state of healthcare indicates it is safe to host a manual therapy lab course.  In the meantime, registration will be open for the course series and more information can be found under the Charlottesville 2020-2021 course series tab on the website.

Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions that you may have.

Thanks for your understanding.

Be Well.
