Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Series
This series of continuing education programs is based on a clinical reasoning model and emphasizes evidence-based examination and treatment. The course series covers all body regions and incorporates a variety of interventions.
The goal of the series is to provide the physical therapist with a comprehensive continuing professional education course and fully prepare them for the ABPTS Orthopedic Clinical Specialty Examination.
This framework will enable the participant to practice in a more efficient and focused manner through the development of clinical skills and a clinical reasoning thought process.
The student to instructor (7:1 max), repetition of examination and treatment techniques, and the opportunity to practice clinical reasoning skills will enhance comprehension and retention.
Case studies will assist with clinical pattern formation along with the integration of different manual therapy approaches.
The use of continuous open discussion will facilitate student/instructor feedback.
The course series will provide the clinician with the opportunity to develop the tools to learn from every patient they encounter.

Course Schedule
The 2026-2027 course series will be held at Spine and Orthopedic Solutions in Ashburn Va.
The courses will be held from October through March.
There are multiple registration options available this year:
Individual “A La Carte” Weekends
- Standard Weekends (Weekends 1–5): Clinicians can register for any single full weekend of their choice.
- Pricing: $500 per weekend.
- Video Add-on: $75 per weekend.
- Advanced Manual Course (Weekend 6 – 1 Day Only): A single-day course focused on advanced spinal thrust techniques and neural tissue mobility/sensitivity management.
- Pricing: $300.
- Video Add-on: $50.
Regional Tracks
Upper Quarter Series (Weekends 1 & 2): Focused on Cervical Spine and Upper Extremity.
- Pricing: $900 ($450/weekend).
- Video Add-on: $125 (Access to all Cervical and UE techniques)
Lower Quarter Series (Weekends 3, 4, & 5): Focused on Lumbar/Pelvis, Hip/Knee, and Foot/Ankle.
- Pricing: $1,300 (~$433/weekend).
- Video Add-on: $175 (Access to all Lumbar, Hip, Knee, and Foot/Ankle techniques).
The Spinal Series (Weekends 1, 3, & 6): Focused on Cervical, Thoracic/Lumbar, and Advanced Techniques.
- Pricing: $1,100 (Save $200 vs. A La Carte).
- Video Add-on: $150.
The Full Series: OCS Preparatory Track (All 6 Weekends)
- Description: The complete curriculum provides the most comprehensive OCS preparation and full community access.
- Standard Pricing: $2,500 (~$417/weekend).
- Early Bird Special: Save $250 if registered before August 17th (Net tuition: $2,250)
- Video Add-on: $250 (Access to the entire VOMPTI Technique Library).

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Individuals who find it necessary to cancel may receive a refund. If the full course tuition has been paid, a refund will be issued minus $250 administrative fee. To receive a refund you must submit written notification at least 7 days before the course date. No refunds will be issued after the start of the course. If you have registered for the entire course series, registration may be transferred to the following years course series, if approved by the VOMPTI Director, for an additional $500 deposit to cover administrative fees and lost revenue.
The course sponsor reserves the ability to cancel the course within 15 days or in the event of circumstances beyond our control and assumes no responsibility for expenses incurred by participants. In the event of cancellation, a full tuition refund will be provided.
